
The Bomber volleyball team celebrated Senior Night in style with a commanding 3-0 victory over Raccoon River Conference opponent Gilbert. The Bombers, led by their seniors, put on a strong performance, taking the match with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, and 25-21.
From the opening serve, Ballard (18-13, 5-2 RRC) established their dominance. The Bombers executed well in crucial moments, especially in the third set, where Gilbert tried to mount a comeback but ultimately fell short.
With the win, the Bombers improve to 5-2 in the RRC and look ahead to their next match on Thursday, October 17, where they will face Bondurant-Farrar on the road. The first serve is scheduled for 5:30 PM.
