ALLEMAN, IA -- The Ballard softball team faced a tough challenge on the road against the #2 ranked North Polk Comets in a highly anticipated Raccoon River Conference game. The Bombers were unable to overcome the Comets, falling 4-0 in a well-fought contest.
With the loss, the Bombers fall to 5-10 (3-5).
The Bombers will look to bounce back quickly as they prepare to host another Raccoon River Conference opponent, #12 Bondurant-Farrar, on Wednesday, June 12. The junior varsity game is scheduled for 5:30 PM, with the varsity game to follow.
