Comments From Men's Head Coach Darren Herrold:

"An outstanding evening for our men's track team and the Ballard Community.  Our men competed in a very tough state qualifying meet and earned a highly respectable 2nd place finish.  That is a testament to our athletes work ethic throughout this entire season.

Nine PR's were set by individuals, and 6 of our 7 relays earned season best times.  The athletes knew this was the meet to showcase their talents and desire, and it clearly showed with their times and placing.  The entire coaching staff could not be any more proud of our young men.  The entire team showed what teamwork and dedication can accomplish on the track.  Nine of our events earned the right to run on the famed "Blue Oval" at state track May 16-18.  These 9 events and all the individuals are eager to improve their times and earn a top placing at the state meet.  The entire Ballard Community is proud of what these young men have accomplished, and what they will accomplish in the future."
