Bombers Fall to Indians in Home Bowling Match

The Ballard men's bowling team faced a tough challenge at home against a strong Oskaloosa squad, falling 3088-2586.  With the loss, Ballard moves to a 6-5 overall record and 6-4 in conference play as they prepare for the upcoming Two Rivers Conference Meet.

Sophomore Kyler Johnson led Ballard with an impressive 444 total pins, placing second overall in the competition.  He also posted Ballard's best high game of the day with a 238, finishing fourth in that category.

Oskaloosa dominated the scoreboard behind senior Trey VanWyk, who led all bowlers with 503 total pins.  Grady Kennedy posted the highest individual game of the match with a 278, while Cole VanderWal and VanWyk each added a 265 game to Oskaloosa's dominant performance.

Despite the loss, Ballard continues to show promise and will aim to bounce back at the Two Rivers Conference Meet on Saturday, February 15, in Oskaloosa.  The tournament begins at 9 AM as the Bombers look to make a strong statement in postseason play.
