The Ballard football team came up short in trying to pull the upset of #1 ADM on Friday night. The Bombers would drop the contest 20-13.
Mason Gatchel was 8 of 20 for 97 yards and a touchdown. Eli Rouse controlled the ground game rushing for 165 yards on 24 carries. Chance Lande had three receptions for 37 yards and a score.
Defensively, the Bombers shut the Tigers out in the second half. Jackson Wacha led the Bombers with 15 tackles Tucker Vitzthum had 8 tackles and Jack Nelson had 6.5.
With the loss, the Bombers fall to 3-4 (1-2) on the season.
The Bombers are back in action on Friday - October 13 when they host Des Moines North in district action. The game will kick off at 7:00 PM.
