The Ballard baseball team fell to Gilbert in a close 7-6 conference game on Wednesday night at Nite Hawk Field.
With this loss, the Bombers' record stands at 13-11 overall and 7-7 in conference play.
The Bombers return to action on Thursday, June 27, traveling to Carroll. The junior varsity game starts at 5:30 PM, followed by the varsity game.
