The Ballard women's tennis team secured the runner-up position in the Knoxville Tournament despite challenging weather conditions characterized by cold and blustery winds.  The Bombers accumulated 19 team points, placing them just behind Pella, who earned 23 team points.

Kaitlyn Zugay claimed the top spot in singles, while Payton Askelsen and Memphis Inglett achieved 3rd place in doubles.  Additionally, Ellie Volkmann and Jocie Hobbs secured 5th place in doubles, contributing to the team's overall success.

The Bombers will resume their matches on Monday, April 22, as they head to the Grinnell Tournament, commencing at 3:00 PM.
