Coach Anderson was a two-time state place winner for Forest City High School (4th and 5th). After high school, Cole walked on to the Iowa State wrestling team for the 2011-2012 season. He has spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach for Forest City High School and North Polk High School. 

Cole lives in Huxley with his wife, Hannah, their daughter, Senne, and their dog, Kit. During the day, Cole works as a workers' compensation underwriter for Markel Corporation based out of Omaha, NE. Outside of work, he enjoys watching any and all Cyclone athletics.
