The Ballard women's bowling team finished as runner-ups in the State Qualifying Meet hosted by the Bombers at Perfect Games on Monday.  The Bombers would finish with 2277 pins and Vinton-Shellsburg would win the team portion with 2527 pins.

In the individual portion of the meet, Joni Kusel finished fourth with a 3 game score of 537 and advanced to the individual state tournament.  Chastyn Gering finished 6th with a 521 for the Bombers.
