Coach Buscher is currently a senior at Iowa State University, majoring in Family and Consumer Science Education with the goal of becoming an FCS teacher.  She graduated from Benton Community High School.  During high school, she participated in multiple sports, including softball, basketball, cross country, and track. As a softball player, Kate was a 5-year starter, playing as a pitcher and first baseman.  Kate also played travel softball, and loves sharing her passion for the sport with others.

 

For the past two summers, Coach Buscher coached at Benton Community, and is eagerly looking forward to coaching at Ballard and having a great time this summer! 

 

In her free time, Kate enjoys being outdoors, spending quality time with her family, and baking.
