The Ballard softball team dropped a shortened contest to #8 Indianola 2-1 on Tuesday night. The game was in the bottom of the fifth with Indianola winning the contest before lightning moved into the area forcing the game to be called.
With the loss, the Bombers fall to 3-3 (2-1) on the season.
The Bombers are back in action on Thursday, June 1 when they travel to #6 ADM. The varsity will start at 6:00 PM.
