The Ballard Men's track team delivered a solid performance at the Saydel meet on Thursday evening, securing an impressive 8th place out of 16 teams.
Chase Ihle showcased his talent by clinching 2nd place in the long jump with a remarkable distance of 19' 11". The team's relay prowess was on full display as the 4x800 relay squad claimed 3rd place with a season-best time of 8:40.37, featuring standout efforts from Jameson Witt, Dillon Shoen, Chance Lande, and Jakson Fleischmann. Jace Ortner demonstrated his speed and endurance with a 2nd-place finish in the 400-meter dash, clocking in at 54.97 seconds, while Eli Rouse impressed in the 200-meter dash, securing 2nd place with a time of 23.54 seconds. Overall, the team's collective performance reflected their dedication and skill, earning them a commendable placement in the competitive field.
