The Ballard men's track team secured the runner-up position at the Tiger Invite held on Monday evening, with host Carroll claiming victory with a total of 104 team points. It was an outstanding evening for the men's track team at Carroll, marked by several athletes achieving personal records (PRs) in both individual events and relay split times. Notably, Chase Ihle achieved a 20-foot jump in the long jump, an impressive feat in only his second meet this season.
The sprint medley team, consisting of Eric Sydnes, Sidnee Farmer, Eli Rouse, and Chance Lande, emerged as champions, alongside Chance Lande's victory in the open 400 meters. The 4x400 relay team also claimed victory with a season-best time, breaking the Carroll Invite record by 6 seconds.
