Comments From Men's Head Coach Darren Herrold:

"For this being only our 2nd meet of the season, all our coaches are extremely pleased with our progress.  Thursday night, our athletes showed what hard work can accomplish.  Lande and Witt continue to impress by going 1-2 in the 400.  We were also happy with two freshmen going 1-2 in the 400 hurdles.  Major accomplishment for those two freshmen since this was the first meet they had actually ran over all 400 meters of hurdles.  We were also happy to see our athletes step up when faced with adversity.  Two of our athletes suffered slight injuries in the meet.  When we asked a freshman to step in and sub for an event, he was more than willing.  It's this desire to compete that we love to see in all our athletes."

The Bombers are back in action on Monday - April 8 when they compete in the Carroll Invitational.  The meet will start at 4:30 PM.
