Rick graduated from Ballard High School where he participated in football and wrestling. He attended ISU where he earned degrees in Finance and Accounting. Rick is currently self employed.

He is married to his amazing wife, Alison, and his sons, Gunnar and Aksel, attend or are alum of Ballard.

He enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, boating, playing soccer and pickle ball.
