Gavin is the Varsity Offensive Coordinator and has been at Ballard High School since 2017.  Prior to coming to Ballard, Gavin coached the Quarterbacks at Pella High School for four years – including two state championships.  Prior to being at Pella, Gavin was an assistant with the Iowa State University football program under Coach Rhoads from 2009-2012.

The Lake City, IA native, Gavin and his wife Tiffany live in Huxley with their three son’s Grant, Preston, and Austin.  Gavin is a loan officer for Fairway Independent Mortgage Company in Ames and Ankeny and any free time found is spent cheering on the Cyclones and spending time with his family.
