The Ballard baseball team finished their week by picking up a nonconference win over Marshalltown on Friday night 4-3.
Jaden Peasley picked up the win pitching five innings allowing two runs and three hits. Miles Mudd came in for two innings to pick up the save.
Jacob Luster was 2 for 4 with two RBI. Eli Rouse went 2 for 3 scoring two runs.
With the win, the Bombers improve to 8-2 (3-0) on the season.
The Bombers are back in action on Monday, June 5 when they travel to Winterset for a Raccoon River contest. The junior varsity will start at 5:30 PM followed by the varsity.
